Hyojeong Rang Africa

A three-year continental elite leadership training program raising spiritually grounded, mission-driven and field-competent leaders for Africa.

True Mother's Words

"You are the Hyojeong Rang that True Parents have given birth to as the fruit of the 6,000 biblical years. I will raise you to become future leaders who are absolutely necessary at this point in history and who will find no equal in the past or in the future. You must also do well in your studies, aiming to become people of greater filial piety than your own parents. Therefore, I wish to educate you with special care."
— True Mother

Definition

A providential leadership incubator.

Hyojeong Rang Africa (HJRA) is a three-year continental elite leadership training program initiated under the Continental Youth Department of FFWPU Africa, with the vision to raise spiritually grounded, mission-driven and field-competent leaders fully aligned with Heavenly Parent and True Parents' providence.

HJRA is not just a training program — it is a providential leadership incubator, preparing a generation of African youth to pioneer the realization of Cheon Il Guk through faith, discipline, skill and sacrificial heart. It is a rigorous, value-centered academy designed to produce future Cheon Il Guk leaders who will guide the church, lead society and embody the highest standard of filial heart (Hyojeong) and excellence in Africa.

Vision & Mission

Where we are going, and how.

Vision

To create a new generation of African leaders — anchored in Hyojeong, guided by Divine Principle, and empowered to build Cheon Il Guk across all sectors of society.

Mission

To raise and equip spiritually aligned, field-competent youth leaders through a three-year leadership training program rooted in True Parents' teachings, combining internal character formation, external skill development, and active mission engagement across Africa.

  • Acknowledge my mistakes, challenges and limitations.
  • Face my challenges no matter what.
02

Ownership

  • Have dominion over food, sleep and desire through self-discipline in True Parents.
  • Express Heavenly governance over creation and live as a self-driven leader.
03

  • Seek the zero point through self-denial to become the absolute object partner.
  • Be compassionate and understanding toward every difference.
  • Be ready to accept and serve your Abel figure and all brothers and sisters.
04

Excellence

  • Strive with a sincere, unresting heart that moves Heaven.
  • Invest toward the Heavenly standard of perfection in every field.
05

Hyojeong

  • Entrust my life to Heavenly Parent for the circumcision of heart — alignment and purification.

Spiritual Foundation

The inspirators and spiritual owners.

HJ Rang Africa stands on the lifework of True Parents, Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Rev. Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon — whose vision of one family under God gave birth to the Hyojeong Rang.

SM

Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon

January 6, 1920 — 2012 · True Father

Born in a small village in what is now North Korea, Rev. Moon was deeply moved by the suffering around him from a young age. At fifteen, during intense prayer on Easter morning, he had a profound encounter with Jesus Christ, who asked him to continue his mission — to bring salvation to humanity and establish God's ideal of peace and love on Earth.

Through years of biblical study, prayer and spiritual discipline he came to understand what he called God's original ideal: humanity living in harmony as one family under God, centered on true love. In 1954 he founded the Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity in South Korea — the Unification Church.

He founded organizations spanning education, media, interfaith dialogue and peacebuilding, including The Washington Times, the Universal Peace Federation and many schools and cultural institutions. In 1960 he was joined in marriage by Hak Ja Han, becoming known together as the True Parents.

Rev. Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon

Born January 6, 1943 · True Mother

Born in Anju, North Korea, and shaped by war and division, True Mother was guided from childhood by a deep faith instilled by her mother, prepared to fulfil a unique spiritual mission. For over fifty years she worked side by side with True Father, expanding the movement worldwide while raising a large family.

Since 2012, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon has taken on the mantle of leadership — meeting heads of state, religious leaders and citizens of every nation, calling for a world of peace built on God-centered families. Under her leadership the Heavenly Parent's Holy Community has been launched, with emphasis on youth, women's leadership, interfaith harmony and moral renewal.

Together, Rev. and Mrs. Moon have left a lasting legacy — a vision of humanity living as one family under God, bound by true love, mutual respect and the dream of lasting peace.
